Relapse: Machiavelli had to be put down
(acm/mps) On Thursday, the veterinarians of the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS, the 19th international riding and show jumping competition, had still announced the pleasant news that Machiavelli was getting better after having suffered from a colic on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the disillusionment came on Saturday morning: Due to a relapse, the 15-year old Westphalian gelding of the dressage rider Pieter van der Raadt (Horrenberg-Balzfeld) had to be put down.
